Former Department of Defense Deputy Chief Information Officer to Guide Analytics Company’s Focus on Defense Sector

San Diego, CA – June 14, 2010 –KUITY Corp., a leading provider of operational risk and valuation advanced analytics, announced today that Marv Langston has joined KUITY’s Board of Advisors. In this role he will join Advisors, including Doug Burke, Chief Executive Officer of DefenseWeb and Terry Magee, Executive Vice President at Wavestream, to provide strategic leadership for KUITY’s continuing focus on providing applied analytic solutions for the defense market.

Langston is the owner of Langston Associates, LLC.  In leading Langston Associates, he combines over 30 years of public service with six years of private sector experience to provide consulting services for enterprise architecture and engineering, project management, and leadership and organizational strategy.  Following his accomplished public service career, Langston served as the Chief Operating Officer of a high-tech start-up, Chief Technology Officer of a large business practice, and led large corporation Information Technology transformation.

In government, Langston served as Department of Defense Deputy Chief Information Officer (CIO), where he helped initiate the Global Information Grid, Public Key Infrastructure, and led the Defense Department Year 2000 transformation.  Prior to that he held positions as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Navy for C4I, was the Navy’s first CIO, and was the Director of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Information Systems Office.

Langston holds a doctorate and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern California, as well as an MS in Electronic Engineering from the Naval Post Graduate School and a BS in Electronic Engineering from Purdue.  Government Computer Week magazine honored Langston with an Executive of the Year award in 1999.
